Focus and Scope

AXIOM : Jurnal Pendidikan & Matematika (AXIOM) is a journal which focuses on publishing research in mathematics education and mathematics. The scope of this journal includes: teaching and learning, instruction, curriculum development, learning environments, teacher education, educational technology, design/development research, from many kinds of research such as survey, research and development, experimental research, classroom action research.

Peer Review Process

The articles sent to the AXIOM : Jurnal Pendidikan dan Matematika are always reviewed by two members of Peer Reviewer (double blind peer review). The decision of the article publication is depending on the evaluation reports from the members of the Editorial Advisory Board. Article evaluation process takes approximately four months. All comments from the reviewers should be taken into account seriously, otherwise, the journal cannot guarantee publication of the manuscript.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Withdrawal of Manuscripts

Author is not allowed to withdraw submitted manuscripts, because the withdrawal is waste of valuable resources that editors and referees spent a great deal of time processing submitted manuscript, and works invested by the publisher.

If author still requests withdrawal of his/her manuscript when the manuscript is still in the peer-reviewing process, author will be punished with paying Rp500.000,- per manuscript, as withdrawal penalty to the publisher. However, it is unethical to withdraw a submitted manuscript from one journal if accepted by another journal.

The withdrawal of manuscript after the manuscript is accepted for publication, author will be punished by paying Rp1.000.000,- per manuscript. Withdrawal of manuscript is only allowed after withdrawal penalty has been fully paid to the Publisher. If author don't agree to pay the penalty, the author and his/her affiliation will be blacklisted for publication in this journal. Even, his/her previously published articles will be removed from our online system.

Screening for Plagiarism Policy

AXIOM : Jurnal Pendidikan dan Matematika has a policy of screening for plagiarism. We use Anti-Plagiarism Software "Turnitin" to check the authenticity article

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
Authors are obliged to avoid plagiarism. Editors will check the similarity level of every submitted article.
If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
An article can be submitted in Bahasa Indonesia, English, or Arabic. When the article is written in English or Arabic, it must be proofread by professionals.
