2012–2015. AXIOM : Jurnal Pendidikan dan Matematika was first published in June 2012 (Volume 1). Volumes 1 to 4 were published in print only (p-ISSN 2087-8249). Since the beginning, the journal has been published twice a year, in June and December.
2016. The journal began publishing online with Volume 5 (2016) and has been managed through Open Journal Systems (OJS) since then.
2017. The journal registered its electronic ISSN (e-ISSN 2580-0450) under ISSN Decree Number 0005.25800450/JI.3.1/SK.ISSN/2017.05 dated 20 May 2017, starting with Volume 6, Number 1 (January–June 2017), so that authors and researchers could access the published articles more easily.
2020. Starting with Volume 9, Number 1 (January–June 2020), the journal changed its cover and manuscript template to make them more informative for prospective authors. The template of Volume 9 Number 1 can be seen here.
2021. The journal was first accredited nationally as Peringkat 3 (SINTA 3) under the Decree of the Minister of Research and Technology/Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia Number 200/M/KPT/2020 dated 19 February 2021. Since Volume 10 Number 2 (2021), the journal has applied an Article Processing Charge of IDR 700,000 per article.
2022. Starting with Volume 11, Number 1 (January–June 2022), the journal changed its manuscript template to be more complete and informative for prospective authors, in line with the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Number 106/E/KPT/2021 concerning Guidelines for the Accreditation of Scientific Journals. The template can be seen here.
2024. Starting with Volume 13, Number 1 (2024), the journal uses a new manuscript template (download here), publishes all articles in English, and has changed its focus to research in mathematics education and applied mathematics. In 2024, the journal was re-accredited as Peringkat 3 (SINTA 3) under the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Number 72/E/KPT/2024. The accreditation is valid through Volume 16, Number 1 (2027).
2026. Starting with the editorial process of Volume 15, Number 2 (December 2026), the journal applies updated editorial policies, especially the AI Use Policy. The policy requires authors to disclose the use of AI, limits the use of AI by editors, and prohibits reviewers from using AI in reviewing manuscripts. See the AI Use Policy page.
2027 onward. A new manuscript template is available for the 2027 issues and beyond.
