AXIOM : Jurnal Pendidikan dan Matematika is a journal of Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK), Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara Medan, focusing on original research in mathematics education and applied mathematics. The journal accepts manuscripts in Indonesian and English. Accepted manuscripts are published in English (since Volume 13 Number 1, 2024).

AXIOM : Jurnal Pendidikan dan Matematika has been accredited nationally as Peringkat 3 (Sinta 3) based on Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi, Riset, dan Teknologi Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia Nomor 72/E/KPT/2024, valid through Volume 16 Number 1 (2027).

BEFORE SUBMISSION

Authors must prepare the manuscript using the AXIOM Template and follow the Author Guidelines. Single-author manuscripts are accepted only from invited authors or authors with an established record of research publications in mathematics education or applied mathematics. All manuscripts must be checked for similarity before submission. Manuscripts that do not meet the Focus and Scope, or that have a similarity index above 30%, will be rejected without further review.

Registration and login are required to submit manuscripts online and to check submission status.

EDITORIAL PROCESS

1. Author submits the manuscript
2. Preliminary check and initial review: 2–4 weeks (excluding author revision time)
3. Double-blind peer review: 3–4 weeks
4. Editorial decision: 1–3 weeks
5. Author revision after review: up to one month per reminder
6. Acceptance to publication: 4–6 weeks
