AXIOM: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Matematika is one of the journals at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sumatera Utara focusing on publishing research in mathematics education and applied mathematics. AXIOM is accepting articles in Indonesian and English. The accepted manuscript will be published in English (Since Vol. 13 No. 1).

BEFORE SUBMISSION

The author has to ensure the manuscript has been prepared using AXIOM Template following the author guidelines. The single author's paper is just for the invited author or the author with a great reputation for research or publication in mathematics education. The manuscript should also have similarity checked. Any manuscript which does not meet the focus and scope, or the percentage of plagiarism more than 30% will be immediately rejected.

Registration and login are required to submit items online and check current submissions' status.

EDITORIAL PROCESS

1. Author submit the manuscript
2. Editor Evaluation [some manuscripts are rejected or returned before the review process] : 2-6 week
3. Double-blind peer review process : 4-8 week
4. Editor Decision (Accepted Submission, Revisions Required, Resubmit For Review, Decline Submission) : 4-6 week
5. Acceptance to Publish : 4-8 weeks

Author Fee & Similarity Policy Update
Starting from September 1, 2025, the following policies will take effect: Author Fee Adjustment The author fee for accepted articles will be IDR 800,000. For articles submitted before this date, the previous fee of IDR 700,000 will still apply. Maximum Similarity Threshold The maximum allowable similarity percentage is 30%. Any manuscript with a similarity index above 30% will be immediately rejected. We kindly ask all authors to take note of these changes before submitting their manuscripts.
