LICENSE

The Journal of Management and Business Innovations (JOMBI) respects the intellectual property rights of authors while promoting open access, scholarly communication, and the responsible dissemination of research. JOMBI provides free online access to its published articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), subject to the applicable license terms and conditions. Authors are required to complete the applicable open-access license agreement before publication. This page states the licensing terms that apply to the full text, the article metadata, and any supplementary material, and explains what readers, authors, and third parties may lawfully do with the published work.

 1. License Statement

Unless stated otherwise on the article page itself, all content published by Journal of Management and Business Innovations from Volume 1 (2019) onward is licensed under CC BY 4.0. The license is applied at the moment of publication, is irrevocable for as long as the user complies with its terms, and is displayed in three places so that it is visible to both human readers and machines:

  • On every article landing page — a license badge and a hyperlink to the full legal code at Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).
  • Inside every PDF galley — a license notice printed in the article footer, so the terms travel with the file when it is downloaded or redistributed.
  • In the machine-readable metadata — the license URI is embedded in the article's Crossref deposit and in the journal's OAI-PMH records, allowing indexing services, repositories, and harvesters to detect the license automatically.

 2. Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License

 JOMBI identifies its open-access licensing arrangement as the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license allows users to share and adapt licensed material for non-commercial purposes, provided that the applicable license conditions are satisfied.

Under CC BY 4.0, users are permitted to:

  • Share: Copy and redistribute the licensed material in any medium or format for non-commercial purposes.
  • Adapt: Remix, transform, translate, and build upon the licensed material for non-commercial purposes.

The license does not grant unrestricted permission for commercial use. Uses primarily intended for or directed toward commercial advantage or monetary compensation may require separate authorization from the relevant rights holder.

 3. License Terms and Conditions

Users who share, reproduce, or adapt material published under CC BY 4.0 must comply with the applicable license conditions.

  • Attribution: Users must provide appropriate credit to the original author or authors, identify the source of publication, include a link to the applicable Creative Commons license, and indicate whether modifications have been made.
  •  Use: Users may not use the licensed material for commercial purposes under this license without obtaining separate permission from the relevant rights holder.
  • Indication of Changes: Users must clearly indicate whether the material has been modified, adapted, translated, or otherwise altered.
  • No Additional Restrictions: Users must not apply legal terms or technological measures that prevent others from exercising the permissions granted by the license.
  • No Implied Endorsement: Attribution must not imply that the original authors, JOMBI, or its publisher endorse the user or the user's use of the material.

The license does not eliminate applicable moral rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other legal obligations that may affect the use of particular materials. Users are encouraged to consult the official license text to determine the scope of permissions applicable to their intended use.
