JISTech (Journal of Islamic Science and Technology)

JISTech is an open-access academic journal established in 2016 under the Faculty of Science and Technology, State Islamic University of North Sumatra, Medan, Indonesia. The journal is dedicated to publishing scholarly articles across various branches of Islamic Science and Technology, providing a platform for the exchange of ideas, research findings, and discussions on contemporary issues.

JISTech accepts contributions in fields such as Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Informatics. Articles can be submitted in either Indonesian or English. The journal is published biannually, in June and December.

JISTech is accredited with S5 SINTA by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (DIKTI) of the Republic of Indonesia under Decree Number 72/E/KPT/2024, dated April 1, 2024. This accreditation applies to Volume 6, Number 1 (2021) through Volume 10, Number 2 (2025).

Pengumuman Penting: Peretasan Sistem OSJ UIN Sumatera Utara
Kepada seluruh penulis dan pembaca JISTech (Journal of Islamic Science and Technology), Dengan menyesal kami informasikan bahwa sistem Open Journal System (OJS) UIN Sumatera Utara dan termasuk JISTech telah mengalami peretasan dari pertengahan tahun hingga saat ini. Peretasan ini mengakibatkan hilangnya sejumlah history, catatan editor, dan reviewer. Kami memahami bahwa hal ini sangat merugikan dan mengganggu proses publikasi. Oleh karena itu, kami meminta kepada seluruh penulis untuk: Memeriksa akun OJS masing-masing. Mengunggah kembali naskah/file yang hilang dari history. Melaporkan ke tim editor jika menemukan kendala atau kejanggalan. Tim Pusat Data UIN Sumatera Utara sedang berupaya memulihkan sistem dan data yang terdampak. Kami mohon maaf atas ketidaknyamanan ini dan berterima kasih atas pengertian serta kerja samanya.
