Abstract
Research has been carried out that aims (i) to design an innovative luggage security system based on the AVR Atmega 328 microcontroller (ii) to design a system structure so that the security system can issue a spraying action. good. The tool is designed to reduce the occurrence of theft in luggage caused by the owner's mistake who often leaves his suitcase somewhere which generally occurs at airports, stations. The system uses, Microcontroller as a motion sensor detector and performs spraying action, PIR (Passsive Infra Red) Sensor as a motion detector of an object such as human movement, DC Pump to drain water from one place to another with the help of electrical energy, communication via SMS gateway with control circuit uses GSM modem media to send SMS on the user's cellphone. The design of an innovative luggage safety device can be built using electronic components based on the Avr microcontroller, namely the ATmega 328 on the Arduino Uno board, where the system is supported by several supporting components such as motion sensors, LCD displays, keypads and ink pumps. The circuit is supplied by a 12V Lithium ion battery. All components are packed in a plastic box and installed in a suitcase. When the suitcase is open, the sensor will detect motion and the microcontroller will detect the correct password if the person who opened the suitcase is the owner of the suitcase. The security system will spray permanent ink liquid if the suitcase is broken into by an irresponsible person. The sensor will detect motion when the suitcase is open, and if within 6 seconds the correct password is not entered, the microcontroller will activate the pump motor and the ink will come out through the end of the hose right in front of the suitcase.
