IQRA': Jurnal Perpustakaan dan Informasi actively monitors the use of Artificial Intelligence in academic publishing to strictly uphold research integrity.
Guidelines for Authors

No AI-Generated Content: You may not use Generative AI (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude and other large language models) to write the core substance, arguments, or data analysis of your manuscript.

Permitted Use: AI assistance is strictly limited to light language polishing, grammar proofreading, or minor paraphrasing.

Similarity Limits: Overall text similarity and AI-generated content must remain below 20% upon official Turnitin evaluation.
Acceptable Use of AI Tools
Authors may employ AI tools for certain limited purposes, provided the following conditions are strictly adhered to:
Permissible Uses:
- Correcting grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Enhancing clarity, tone, or writing style
- Formatting references and citations
- Conducting preliminary literature searches
- Supporting (but not replacing) statistical modeling or analysis
- Creating visual aids or illustrations, if ethically sourced and critically reviewed
Prohibited Uses:
AI tools must not be employed to:
- Generate entire manuscripts or significant portions of original content without appropriate attribution and human oversight
- Fabricate or falsify data, findings, or visuals
- Translate scholarly content without human verification
- Summarize or paraphrase existing literature in ways that constitute plagiarism
- Produce content that infringes upon copyright or uses third-party materials without authorization
Guidelines for Reviewers and Editors

Absolute Confidentiality: All submitted manuscripts are privileged, unpublished documents.

Zero AI Uploads: Editors, reviewers, and copyeditors are strictly prohibited from uploading any part of an author's manuscript to external AI platforms for evaluation, summarizing, or editing.
IQRA' supports technological efficiency provided it never compromises manuscript confidentiality or the intellectual property rights of our contributing authors.
