Al-Qanun: Jurnal Kajian Sosial dan Hukum Islam is a blind peer-reviewed  journal published by  Faculty of Sharia and Law, Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara, Medan, Indonesia.

This Journal acepted research articles,conceptual articles, report field studies and book review of social studies and Islamic law (see Focus and Scope). The articles of this journal were published every 3 (three) months (March, June, September, and December). However, in 2022, the publication schedule changed to biannual, with issues released in March and September.
