Jurnal Ansiru PAI is a peer reviewed academic journal, established in 2017 as part of the Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara, Medan. Jurnal Ansiru PAI aims to provide a scholarly platform for advancing knowledge, research, and critical perspectives on the professional development of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers, with a distinctive focus on the four core teacher competencies: pedagogical, personal, social, and professional. The journal encourages original research, theoretical exploration, and innovative practices that strengthen the role of PAI teachers in shaping quality education and nurturing future generations. The scope of the journal covers a wide range of topics, including curriculum and pedagogy in Islamic education, teacher ethics and personality development, social and leadership roles of PAI teachers, professional growth and policy analysis, as well as transformative and interdisciplinary studies integrating science, technology, humanities, and Islamic values. By fostering interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary dialogues, the journal connects Islamic educational traditions with contemporary global challenges in education, multiculturalism, and digital transformation.

Jurnal Ansiru PAI has been accredited by The Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia as an academic journal (Decree No. 177/E/KPT/2024).
