4. Editorial Assessment

All post-publication comments are subject to editorial assessment before publication.

The editor will evaluate whether a comment is relevant to the original article, provides a meaningful scholarly contribution, is supported by sufficient evidence, and complies with the journal's publication ethics standards.

Where necessary, the editor may seek advice from independent experts or invite the original authors to respond.

The journal may decline comments that are irrelevant, unsupported, defamatory, abusive, misleading, repetitive without substantive contribution, or inconsistent with scholarly and ethical standards.

Editorial decisions will be made fairly and independently, without discrimination based on the author's institutional affiliation, academic position, or viewpoint.

5. Right of Reply

When a comment raises substantive questions or criticism concerning a published article, the journal may invite the original author(s) to provide a response.

Authors will be given a reasonable opportunity to address the issues raised and to provide relevant evidence or clarification.

Responses must be professional, factual, and directly related to the matters discussed. The journal may subject responses to editorial review or independent peer review when appropriate.

The journal may publish the comment and the author's response together or separately, depending on editorial considerations and the publication format.

The original author(s) will not have an unconditional right to publish a response. All responses remain subject to editorial assessment and the journal's publication standards.

6. Corrections and Updates

If post-publication discussion identifies a factual, methodological, or reporting error that does not invalidate the overall findings, the journal may publish a correction or corrigendum.

If an article requires clarification because significant questions have arisen but the available evidence is not yet conclusive, the journal may publish an expression of concern where appropriate.

Any correction or update will clearly identify the affected article and explain the nature of the change. The journal will maintain links between the original article and the relevant correction or notice to preserve transparency and the integrity of the scholarly record.

7. Research Integrity Concerns

If a post-publication comment raises credible concerns about plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, unethical research practices, undisclosed conflicts of interest, or other potential research misconduct, the journal will assess the matter in accordance with its Allegations of Research Misconduct policy.

The journal may request additional information from the authors, consult independent experts, or contact the relevant research institution or other appropriate authority when necessary.

If an investigation establishes that corrective action is required, the journal may issue a correction, an expression of concern, a retraction, or another appropriate notice, depending on the nature and seriousness of the findings.

Allegations will be assessed objectively, and no conclusion of misconduct will be reached solely on the basis of an unverified claim.

8. Ethical Standards and Confidentiality

All participants in post-publication discussions must respect academic integrity, confidentiality, and professional conduct.

Personal attacks, harassment, discriminatory language, threats, and unsupported allegations against authors, reviewers, editors, or other individuals will not be accepted.

The journal will handle personal information and supporting documentation responsibly and will share confidential information only when necessary for editorial assessment, investigation, or compliance with applicable obligations.
