Author Guidelines

Guidelines for the writing of articles at TAQADDUM: Community Service Journal can be seen as follows:

Articles are the author's original scientific work and have never been published or are in the process of being published by other media;

Articles emphasize the output of community service activities on Islamic economic theories, Islamic business theories, Management theories, and their practices in the Islamic world (See Focus and Scope);

Articles must be in accordance with the surrounding style and journal template;

The author must submit an article that reviews the actual themes within the scope of TAQADDUM: Community Service Journal, shows the sharpness of community service output or program, the updating of references, and no plagiarism. The author must fill in the form for the authenticity of the articles;

The article's systematics are:

  • Title;
  • Author's name (without academic degree), affiliation, and e-mail;
  • Abstracts are written in English. The abstract contains a maximum of 250 words;
  • Keywords, between 3-7 words;
  • Introduction;
  • Subtitles (according to the needs of the analysis and discussion);
  • Conclusions;
  • Bibliography.

Articles can be written in English;

Manuscripts should be typed in MS Word doc. format; using 11-pt Times New Roman font; space 1,15; single-spaced on A4-sized paper; length: between 4,000 and 7,500 words (including tables, figures, references, and appendices). It is expected that the author will submit carefully written and proofread material.

Use Reference Management Software such as Zotero (http://www.zotero.org), Mendeley (https://www.mendeley.com), etc. for citations and references by following the style of the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition. Careful checking for spelling and grammatical errors should be performed. It is suggested to use Grammar Checker Software Grammarly (http://app.grammarly.com). The articles submitted through online submissions must contain the articles file and the academic biographical data;

Make sure that your articles are prepared using the articles template. Download here the article template.
