Focus and Scope

Misykat: Jurnal Alumni Kesehatan Masyarakat is open access, a peer-reviewed journal, and an authoritative source of health information. The journal specializes on Public health, nursing and relevant topics of health issues. The scopes are :

  • Public health: Epidemiology, Health promotion, health policies and systems, environmental, health information,
  • Nursing: Neurologist, pediatrics, community and home care, gerontology, maternity, medical and surgical nursing, psychiatric mental health
  • Midwifery: midwifery in complementary based, and midwifery in the community with gender-based.

Peer Review Process

Articles submitted are reviewed by the editorial team as the initial process. Editorial team will evaluate the feasibility of the content, focus, and methodology in the article. The articles are then sent to at least 2 reviewers at the position Double Blind Review. Notes from reviewer then sent back to the author to be adapted to the standards of journal writing. Decision of the revised manuscript will be re-evaluated in the meeting of the editorial board. Later, the decision of editor in the final meeting will be informed to the author.

  • everyone has free and unlimited access to the full-text of articles published in this journal; manuscripts are freely available without subscription or price barriers
  • papers are immediately released in open access format (no long waiting periods)
