Islamijah: Journal of Islamic Social Sciences (IJIS) is a peer-reviewed academic journal, established in 2020 as part of the Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara Medan. IJIS is dedicated to the publication of scholarly articles in various branches of Islamic Social Sciences, by which exchanges of ideas as research findings is facilitated.

IJIS is an international, scholarly open access, peer-reviewed and fully refereed journal focusing on theories, methods and applications in Islamic social sciences. As an international, online-only journal it is devoted to the publication of original, primary research (theoretical and empirical papers) as well as practical applications relating to Islamic social sciences with no cost.

Islamijah has indexed by CrossRef since 2020. Therefore, all articles published by Islamijah will have unique DOI number.
