STUDIA ECONOMICA: Jurnal Ekonomi Islam is a peer-reviewed journal that aims to advance islamic economies in emerging markets, namely economies in emerging countries and economies in emerging areas in developed countries. This journal is published by the Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara, and the Journal is published twice a year on Juni and Desember, Editors welcome scholars, researchers and practitioners of education around the world to submit scholarly articles to be published through this journal. The journal encompasses research articles, original research report, reviews, short communications and scientific commentaries. All articles will be reviewed by experts before accepted for publication. Each author is solely responsible for the content of published articles.

In 2024, Studia Economica has been accredited by Decree of the General Director of Strengthening Research and Development, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia SK: 72/E/KPT/2024, SINTA 5, Started from Vol 7. No 1. 2021 until Vol 11. No 2. 2025
