PERAN KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA DESA KANEKES(JARO PAMARENTAH) TERHADAP PENDIDIKANMASYARAKAT BADUY LUAR

Abstract

This research is a study of the role of the Head of Kanekes Village on education of the
Outer Baduy community as one of the tribes in Indonesia. The research approach is
qualitative with interview techniques, document studies and observations. Education in
question is education can be beneficial for his family and can even be useful for his tribe,
the Baduy. Basically, Baduy already has rules or Pikukuh that is very strong, but because
of the enormous encouragement that has made Pikukuh already violated and need to be
underlined those who carry out education does not mean they are not subject to
Pikukuh, but they see the long term after following education. This was done secretly
because they still wanted to remain in the Baduy traditional environment, therefore
formal education was conducted secretly.
