EVALUASI PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER ISLAMI MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN PAI

Abstract


This research aims to evaluate the formation of Islamic character through Islamic Religious Education learning by analyzing planning, implementation, evaluation, and supporting and inhibiting factors in the process. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design involving Islamic Religious Education teachers as primary research subjects. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews and participatory observations, subsequently analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. Research findings indicate that Islamic Religious Education learning planning has systematically integrated Islamic character values into every learning component. Implementation was executed through various strategies including exemplary modeling, habituation, contextual learning, and effective utilization of digital technology to enhance internalization of character values such as religiosity, honesty, discipline, responsibility, and tolerance. Evaluation was conducted holistically and continuously using authentic assessment instruments measuring cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects by involving various stakeholders. Supporting factors include teacher competence, school management support, and religious culture, while inhibiting factors encompass differences in student backgrounds and digital era challenges. This research recommends strengthening educational stakeholder collaboration, enhancing Islamic digital literacy, and developing comprehensive evaluation models to optimize Islamic character formation through Islamic Religious Education learning.
