About the Journal

AS-SA'IS: JURNAL HUKUM TATA NEGARA (SIYASAH) is an academic publication specializing in constitutional law and Siyasah (Islamic political jurisprudence). Managed and published by the Constitutional Law Study Program (Prodi Hukum Tata Negara) within the Faculty of Sharia and Law at Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara Medan, the journal provides a scholarly platform for research in constitutional law, Islamic politics, and general Islamic jurisprudence, analyzed through interdisciplinary perspectives.

AS-SA'IS was granted its Print ISSN (P-ISSN) in 2013. The journal's final print issue, accompanied by its initial online publication, was released in 2017 before entering an extended publication hiatus through 2019. In 2024, efforts were initiated to reactivate the journal alongside a formal application for an Online ISSN (E-ISSN). Throughout its revival and future issues, the journal continues to operate under its original title established in 2013 without modification.
