Focus

Jurnal Penelitian Al-I’jaz: Jurnal Kewahyuan Islam berfokus pada penyediaan artikel ilmiah  yang berkaitan dengan kewahyuan yang berbasis pada tema-tema  yang berkembang pada saat ini dan dihadirkan melalui publikasi artikel, laporan penelitian, dan ulasan buku.

Scope

Jurnal Penelitian Al-I’jaz: Jurnal Kewahyuan Islam mengkhususkan diri dalam studi ilmu kewahyuan yang meliputi living quran, ilmu qur’an, tafsir, ilmu hadis, fiqh hadis, kritik hadis, serta disiplin ilmu lainnya yang terkait dengan ilmu kewahyuan.

Peer Review Process

The entire article will be review at least two reviewers, and the results of the review will be published after approval from the board of editors.

Contribution to Editorial Decisions

Peer review assists the editor in making editorial decisions and through the editorial communications with the author may also assist the author in improving the paper.

Promptness

Any selected referee who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript or knows that its prompt review will be impossible should notify the editor and excuse himself from the review process.

Confidentiality

Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. They must not be shown to or discussed with others except as authorized by the editor.

Standards of Objectivity

Reviews should be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Referees should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.

Acknowledgement of Sources

Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Any statement that an observation, derivation, or argument had been previously reported should be accompanied by the relevant citation. A reviewer should also call to the editor's attention any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and any other published paper of which they have personal knowledge.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage. Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

 

Publication Ethic

  1. Al-I'jaz:Jurnal Kewahyuan Islam adheres to the prevailing industry standards and procedures for investigating publication ethics.
  2. Al-I'jaz:Jurnal Kewahyuan Islam does not allow dual publication (the same material published twice in the peer reviewed literature), or dual submission (the same material simultaneously submitted to more than one journal).
  3. Specifically, Al-I'jaz:Jurnal Kewahyuan Islam does not tolerate plagiarism, data or figure manipulation, knowingly providing incorrect information, copyright infringement, inaccurate author attributions, attempts to inappropriately manipulate the peer review process, failures to declare conflicts of interest, fraud, and libel. This list is not exhaustive - if there is uncertainty of what constitutes such actions, then more resources may be found at the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Council of Science Editors (CSE), or the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME).
  4. Al-I'jaz:Jurnal Kewahyuan Islam will rigorously enforce our standards, and follow up on any transgressions. In extreme cases, this may call for individuals to be reported to their institutions and/or for manuscripts to be retracted.

Publication Frequency

Publish twice in year (biannually) on August and October
