KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL KEPALA MADRASAH DAN KULTUR MADRASAH DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KINERJA MENGAJAR GURU DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA MADRASAH

Abstract


Abstrak: penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi dan menganalisis kinerja mengajar
guru dan prestasi belajar siswa yang dipengaruhi oleh kepemimpinan transformasional kepala madrasah
dan kultur madrasah. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif melalui analisis
deskriptif dan inferensial. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri di Jakarta
Selatan, data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket (instrument). Dari hasil penelitian didapati bahwa
kepemimpinan transformasional kepala madrasah, dan kultur madrasah memiliki hubungan yang
positif terhadap kinerja mengajar guru dan prestasi belajar siswa, dengan demikian dapat dikatakan
bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional kepala madrasah dan kultur madrasah memiliki peranan
penting terhadap naik atau turunnya kinerja mengajar guru dan prestasi belajar siswa. Oleh karena
itu, upaya meningkatkan kinerja mengajar guru dan prestasi belajar siswa dapat dilakukan dengan
mengedepankan kualitas kepemimpinan transformasional kepala madrasah dan pembentukan kultur
madrasah yang baik.
Kata Kunci:Kepemimpinan transformasional, kultur belajar, kinerja mengajar, prestasi belajar.
Abstract The study aims to obtain information and analyze teacher teaching performance and student
learning achievements that are influenced by the transformational leadership of the madrasa and madrasa
culture. The study was conducted using quantitative methods through descriptive and inferential analysis.
The study was conducted on teachers of Public Islamic Education in South Jakarta, data were
collected using questionnaires. From the results of the study it was found that transformational leadership
of madrasah principals, and madrasa culture had a positive relationship to teacher teaching performance
and student learning achievement, thus it can be said that transformational leadership of
madrasah principals and madrasa cultures had an important role to play in increasing or decreasing
teacher teaching performance and achievement student learning. Therefore, efforts to improve teacher
teaching performance and student achievement can be done by promoting the principal’s transformational
leadership qualities and the formation of a good madrasa culture.
