Abstract Facial expression recognition is one of the challenging tasks in computervision. In this paper, we analyzed and improved the performances bothhandcrafted features and deep features extracted by Convolutional NeuralNetwork (CNN). Eigenfaces, HOG, Dense-SIFT were used as handcrafted features.Additionally, we developed features based on the distances between faciallandmarks and SIFT descriptors around the centroids of the facial landmarks, leading to a better performance than Dense-SIFT. We achieved 68.34 % accuracywith a CNN model trained from scratch. By combining CNN features withhandcrafted features, we achieved 69.54 % test accuracy.Key Word: Neural network, facial expression recognition, handcrafted features

The mode of transportation is a means of connecting used by workers and students to be able to help with all daily activities. The development of transportation modes is increasingly significant with the addition of wider technological sophistication, so that there are more and more diverse types of transportation modes. The purpose of this research is to determine the factors that have the most influence on the choice of mode and provide more effective decisions among workers and students in the selection of public transportation modes to be used. In this research, the decision support system (DSS) method is used, namely the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and elimination et choix traduisant la reality (ELECTRE) by performing multi-criteria calculations that compare the criteria and alternatives. Where the results obtained in this research is that the most influential factor in the selection of transportation modes among workers is time efficiency with a weight of 25.9 %, while the influential factor for students is cost which produces a weight of 30.7 %. The most effective and efficient alternative mode of transportation among workers is Go-Jek Bike, while for students it is Transmetro Deli.

The currency of each country is different, resulting in difficulties in transacting between one country and another. So it takes a currency exchange process to facilitate a transaction process between countries called the Exchange Rate. However, exchange rate volatility can threaten the economy of a country. Therefore, a prediction of the exchange rate is needed so that investors or the public can determine strategies or plans for future economic policies. Therefore, this study aims to find the ARIMA model that has the best performance in predicting the rupiah exchange rate against the dollar. So that this model can be a reference for investors and the public in investing in shares with other countries. The results of this study obtained the best model, namely the ARIMA model (0, 1, 1) to predict the exchange rate for the next 20 periods with the help of eviews9 software.

New student admissions will certainly be done annually by the university. However, in the process, universities sometimes collaborate in the selection of campus scholars. Based on this, this research was conducted to develop a system for selecting new students who are entitled to receive scholarships at STMIK Logika Medan. The results of this study indicate that: :(a) Having a decision support system using the SAW method can help facilitate campus tasks in determining potential new students to accept; (b) To identify potential new students, they must meet the criteria that have been established; (c) Based on the data test results of 5 prospective new students, it was found that the prospective new student named Syifa Annisa had the highest score. Based on the results of these tests, the built application is able to provide information about the eligibility decision to admit new students;(d)Reporting in the form of sorting the final system results from highest to lowest value can make the resulting population value data easier to read for related parties.

Lamp technology can also provide lighting, currently it has helped many people's activities in their daily life activities. Here the author aims to make a prototype in the form of a tool with a system that can turn on and turn off the lights, by turning off different lights and efficiency so that it no longer requires physical contact to turn them on and off. so that the lights can turn on and off by utilizing a sound from the movement of the human body that can be received directly without having to touch the switch of the lamp. In making it the author uses the Arduino Uno microcontroller as the brain of this system, with input in the form of the FC-04 sound sensor module, namely the sound sensor works based on incoming sound waves. If the sound waves hit the sensor membrane, it will have an effect on the sensor membrane vibrating. The membrane will convert sound waves into electrical quantities which can later be used as parameters to control output devices. This system is designed in such a way that it can work according to the desired features

The Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Medan City is a state ministry that provides hajj departure services for prospective pilgrims. In conducting the registration process for Hajj departure, the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Medan City has not provided a system, so the registration process is still carried out conventionally. Prospective pilgrims must come directly to register for Hajj by filling out the registration form and bringing the requirements needed for registration. By doing this, there are still problems that occur, especially in terms of time, cost, and energy spent. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to build a mobile-based information system using a quota-based method to facilitate Hajj registration. The system development method used is the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which consists of planning, design, and implementation workshops. While the tools used by the author in creating a visual information system design are UML (Unified Modeling Language), this mobile-based information system was built using the Kodular framework and the Airtable database. With this information system, it is expected to help prospective pilgrims register for Hajj easily and quickly through Android mobile.

The effect of social networking on business marketing strategies becomes inevitable. Taking a step back, we try to combine and analyze the effect on new product development and then propose a model for designing product deployment through social networks. We construct the issue of preferred stock (Kohli and Krishnamurti 1987), which is a common combinatorial optimization problem used as one of the methods for analyzing aggregated data analysis by marketers to identify products with the largest market share, and showing how to combine social networking securities in the issue of stock options .

Abstract. The University of XYZ is a well established university which has five faculties with one of them is post graduate. Charging with a very low cost of tuition fee has attracted so many high school graduation and make it becoming the university with the bulk number of students. It has caused one subject is taught by more than one lecturer. This research is using quantitative analysis method with Naive Bayes Algorithm methodology in passing decision on PTI (Pengantar Teknologi Informasi) subject. The result gives pattern of training data in mean and standard deviation towards three attributes, i.e. tasks, mid-semester and final exam score, which can classify or predict graduation for new data test. The pattern of this equation can also be used for other class classification, on the same or different subjects.

Bombay Bakery is a bakery that operates in the field of bread production. Various raw materials used in bread production include wheat flour, butter, sugar, bread improver, eggs and so on. This research aims to determine the optimal order quantity of raw materials each time an order or purchase is made, for the Reorder Point and for the total cost of raw material inventory using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Data collection techniques were carried out by means of library studies and field research. The data analysis technique used is quantitative data analysis technique. Based on perhi analysisThe profit was obtained by ordering or purchasing 659 Kg of raw materials for wheat flour, 37 Kg of butter, 102 Kg of sugar, 3 Kg of bread improver, and 11 eggs with a reorder point for wheat flour raw materials of 501 Kg, 24 Kg of butter, 65 Kg of sugar, 1 Kg of bread leaven, and 8 pieces of eggs. With total costs using company policy of IDR 22,740,233.- while using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model it is IDR 12,761,888.- so that using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model is more effective in saving raw material inventory costs

ABSTRACTThe increasing population growth in North Sumatra Province every year has an impact on increasing the need for staple sources for daily life in North Sumatra, so it is necessary to do a forecast to anticipate food shortages in the future. This study aims to determine the results of tobacco production in North Sumatra Province in 2024 and the level of accuracy of the methods used. The results of the study obtained the prediction of rice production in North Sumatra Province in 2024 using the Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA) method, respectively from Quarter I to Quarter III, of 665 tons, 725 tons, and 740 tons, with a level of forecasting accuracy based on the standard MAPE value obtained of 15.78%. The MAPE value obtained is less than 10% and close to 0%, meaning that the SSA method with window lengths of 9 and 7 groups is very accurate for predicting tobacco production in North Sumatra Province.

The wellbeing area is one region that requires innovation in technology. Wellbeing is for sure a costly thing for people. In this manner it takes individual affectability to care for it. One of the solid organs that people frequently disregard is teeth and mouth. Periodontitis is a dental and oral illness that is frequently grumbled of by numerous individuals. In any case, as of recently, periodontitis has not been a critical worry of Indonesian individuals. It is important to give data and comprehension about periodontitis side effects to dynamic smokers by making an expert system. A system is expected to distinguish the underlying indications and straightforwardly beat these side effects. The expert system is a part of Computer Science that fills in as a spot to move information from specialists so computers can have the aptitude to tackle issues utilizing these specialists' information. The technique utilized in this examination is the Fuzzy Logic strategy. This present investigation's eventual outcomes are analytic outcomes from the fluffy rationale technique, where the exactness of the Fuzzy Logic strategy is 93.33%.

The number of drug abuse cases in Indonesia from 2015-2020 tends to fluctuate. Factors influencing drug abuse cases in each region are thought to vary according to geographical location. This geographic effect is known as spatial heterogeneity. Spatial heterogeneity was analyzed usingGeographically Weighted Regression(GWR). This study aims to model the factors that influence drug abuse in every province in Indonesia, namely Economic Situation (X1), Association/Environment (X2), Convenience (X3) and Lack of Supervision (X4) using a Gaussian kernel. The results showed that the GWR with the Gaussian kernel is better at estimating the model because it has a higher value, namely R^2 with 90.94% and the AIC value equals 598.798979. Factors that significantly affect the number of cases of drug abuse in Indonesia are Economic Conditions, Association/Environment, Convenience and Lack of Supervision.

Rotation Variations, Game Chaos, Modified Rules.
en
The core concept of fractals is the process of rearranging identical components that have a large amount of self-similarity. One example of fractals is the Sierpinski trianglecan be generated using the chaos game method. This method is a form of play in drawing points on triangles that have certain rules and are repeated iteratively. This research will modify the rules of chaos game triangle with the addition of various rotationswith the center of rotation at one, two, three, four, and five reference points. The visual results obtained are in the form of fractals because they have self-similarity properties and a collection of new points formed experiences rotation with the center of rotation based on the selected reference point with the direction of rotation based on the rules. The visual results of the rotation θ angle are visually symmetrical about the axis-y with the visual results of the rotation 360⁰-θ angle at one, three, four, and five reference points as the center of rotation. At two reference points as the center of rotation it is obtained that there are two parts that are visually symmetrical about a certain line. Visual results of rotation 360⁰ angles at one, two, three reference points as the center of rotation have a shape similar to the Sierpinski triangle. Whereas at four and five points of reference as the center of rotation has a shape similar to the Sierpinski triangle.

Survival analysis is a statistical procedure for analyzing data by observing the response variable in the form of event time data from the beginning of recording to the end of the event. Survival analysis is used in many fields of medicine. The cox proportional hazard model aims to look at the factors of the recovery rate on patient survival. In this study using Bayesian data with Lognormal distribution in Covid-19 patients at Dr. Pirngadi, Medan City. The predictor variables are Age, gender, employment status, and other diagnose. Based on the research, the cox proportional hazard model was obtained with the influential variables based on the credible interval it is known that the age and genderare significant variables. Among the two variables that have the most influence is the age because it obtains a larger coefficient, namely

This research is related to the development of an Android-based futsal field booking application at Laut Dendang Futsal using the First Come First Serve (FCFS) method. Currently, tenants are facing problems with booking futsal fields, especially because the booking process is still manual and time consuming at Laut Dendang Futsal. Ordering systems that do not use information technology cause customers to have to visit the location directly to order the field. The FCFS method is applied to arrange a futsal field booking schedule based on order of arrival, where requests that arrive first will be served first. This research builds an Android-based application with the aim of increasing efficiency in booking management and futsal field scheduling. The development approach used is the Extreme Programming method, which includes planning, design, coding and continuous testing. The results of application development show good performance in minimizing ordering errors and making it easy for Laut Dendang Futsal customers to order fields without having to come directly to the location. Admin can easily manage and record orders, avoiding errors in the ordering system. Thus, this research makes a positive contribution in increasing the efficiency of booking futsal fields, as well as speeding up responses to incidents.

Abstract This study aims to see the effect of realistic mathemathic education modelson students' mathematical reasoning abilities in terms of learning styles. This type ofresearch is quantitative. Data collection techniques used were essay tests andinterviews. The data analysis technique used is hypothesis testing using 2-way anava. But before the anava test is carried out, the normality, homogeneity and balance testsare performed. Based on the data that is known that normal data, based on the sameand balanced variance obtained by the 2-way Anova test results indicate that thereis an influence of the RTE model on students' mathematical reasoning ability, namelythe reasoning ability of students with RME model treatment is better than themathematical reasoning ability with conventional treatment methods. In additionthere is the influence of student learning styles on students' reasoning abilities.Furthermore, mathematical reasoning ability of students who have who have a visuallearning style is better than students who have an auditory and kinesthetic learningstyle. While students who have kinesthetic learning styles are better than studentswho have auditory learning styles. There is no interaction between the treatment oflearning with the learning styles category of students. Means, there is no differencein the effect between the learning treatment and learning styles of students on theability of mathematical reasoning on students with the treatment of learning usingthe Realistic Mathematics Education model or using conventional learning models.Key Word: Realistic Mathematical Education Model, MathematicalReasoning Ability, Learning Styles

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as a non-ministerial government agency has the task of providing data needs for the government and the public obtained through censuses and surveys conducted by BPS itself and also from other government departments or agencies as secondary data. The problem that occurs at BPS is the field of inflation, one of which is in the field of the consumer price index, which experiences price fluctuations which have an impact on the economy. Forecasting is an important tool used for effective and efficient planning, therefore, forecasting is needed to predict various events that will occur in the future. One of the methods used for forecasting is the linear Double Exponential Smoothing (DES) method from Brown, this method basically uses past data which is smoothed by exponen- tially weighting the older observation values or newer values and the data used shows trend pattern. Trend is a smoothed estimate of the average growth at the end of the period. In this study, the best parameter α for forecasting the consumer price index in the city of Medan is α= 0,8 with a MAPE percentage of 0,0223. And the results of the consumer price index forecast in the city of Medan in 2022-2023 show an increase every month.

In export data, there are often seasonal fluctuations caused by various factors, and STL (Seasonal Trend decomposition using Loess) can help effectively separate these seasonal components. STL is an algorithm developed to decompose a time series into three components: trend, seasonal, and remainder, aiding in a better understanding of the underlying patterns and variations in the data. The data taken in this study are data on the number of exports (tonnes) in the period January 2018 to December 2022 sourced from bps. From the forecasting results it can be concluded that the largest BM export value is 6357.6131 (tons), the largest BP export value is 859804.0 (tons) and the largest BP export value is 113157.64 (tons).

The optimization model is one of the systems analysis models identified with operation research. The transportation method is part of a linear program that is used to organize and distribute resources that provide products to places where they are needed to achieve transportation cost efficiency. The working principle of the Least Cost method is to give allocation priority that has the smallest unit cost (the smallest unit cost). The MODI (Modified Distribution) method is a method of solving transportation cases developed from the Stepping Stone method. This research was conducted at PT. Mabar Feed Indonesia which is engaged in the feed sector. This study aims to determine minimizing transportation costs at PT. Mabar Feed Indonesia which will later become input for the company. The results showed that the transportation cost before minimization was Rp . Then the costs incurred after using the Least Cost method in the initial solution amounted to Rp . After using the Least Cost method, the final solution is to make MODI more optimal and the total transportation cost is Rp .

The Department of Population and Civil Registry of North Sumatra Province must know the prediction of the number of early marriages in the following year so that they can anticipate the occurrence of early marriages. The problem that occurs is that the government through the Department of Population and Civil Registry of North Sumatra Province cannot predict early marriage due to the impact of COVID-19, this is due to the lack of community activity in obtaining knowledge and the difficulty of obtaining information about the occurrence of early marriage. Therefore we need a way that can help the government in predicting early marriage. This study uses single exponential smoothing (SES) to predict an increase in early marriage due to the impact of COVID-19. With the application to predict the increase in marriage due to the impact of COVID-19 using the single exponential smoothing method, it is hoped that the Population and Civil Registry Office of North Sumatra Province will be able to find out the increase in the number of early marriages in the coming period. The Department of Population and Civil Registry of North Sumatra Province must know the prediction of the number of early marriages in the following year so that they can anticipate the occurrence of early marriages. In determining an academic majors, the mere information about the departments is not sufficient as the base of taking the decision as one would only know popular majors without being aware of his/her potential. There are also limited recommendations obtained through counseling guidance. By using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Multi-Objective Optimization on the basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) methods, prospective students get the recommendations of academic majors by putting their preference criteria for the majors. The criteria used are affordable study costs, accreditation of majors, department facilities, student potential to the majors, student interest in majors, future goals, parental advice, self-desire, peer influence, report card scores, previous achievements, passing grade majors and length of study. The Spearman's Rank Correlation method was used to determine the results of the correlation ranking recommendations from the teacher (guidance and counseling teacher) and the system where the weights obtained from the teacher (guidance and counseling teacher) and from the students who filled it through the system. Based on the correlation of the system ranking with the guidance and counseling teacher ranking to 25 students majoring in Natural sciences class XII, the average value of accuracy was 88% with a standard deviation of 0.13. As for the students majoring in social sciences, the average value of accuracy was 97% with a standard deviation of 0.03. From this research, it can be concluded that the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Multi Objective Optimization on the basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) methods can be used in helping to solve decision-making problems in the recommendation system of academic majors.

Blink Detections, Eye Aspect Ratio, Eye Blink, Facial Landmarks, Dlib
en
Blink detection is an important technique in a variety of settings, including facial motion analysis and signal processing. However, automatic blink detection is challenging due to its blink rate. This paper proposes a real-time method for detecting eye blinks in a video series. The method is based on automatic facial landmark detection trained on real-world datasets and demonstrates robustness against various environmental factors, including lighting conditions, facial emotions, and head position. The proposed algorithm calculates the position of facial landmarks, extracts scalar values using the Eye Aspect Ratio (EAR), and characterises eye proximity in each frame. For each video frame, the proposed method calculates the location of the facial landmark and extracts the vertical distance between the eyelids using the position of the facial landmark. Blinks are detected by using the EAR threshold value and recognising the pattern of EAR values in a short temporal window. According to the results from a common data set, it is shown that the proposed approach is more efficient than state-of-the-art techniques.

Multi Criteria Decision Making, Analitycal Hierarchy Process, Evaluation.
en
The purpose of this study is to implement the multi criteria decision making (MCDM) with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to obtain the results of the assessment of the performance of the lecturer in determining the best lecturer. The use of this method begins with creating a hierarchical structure of the problem to be studied. A matrix of pairs of comparisons will be searched for the weight of each criterion by normalizing the average of the opinion of the respondent. Maximum eigen values and normalized eigen vectors will be obtained from the matrix. In the process of determining the hierarchical weighing factor, the competence test should be performed CR< 0,1. The factor variables used are student questionnaires towards learning (C1), Research (C2), Commitment to the community (C3), and Seminar/Workshop/General College/recognition (C4). Based on the data processing results, the priority is Research criteria (C2) of 0.318505; then the second criterion is Student questionnaire towards learning(C1) of 0.287053; the third is Abdimas’s (C3) criteria of 0.237667 and the last is the Seminar/workshop/general class/recognitive (C4) of 0.156775. And based on analysis using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) then who becomes the best lecturer in the Faculty of Education and Sciences of the University of HKBP Nommensen is initially D15 set as the best faculty in position 1 with a score of 0.35 or 35%, D 14 is in position 2 with a rating of 0.335 or 33.5% and D12 is in the third position with the score of 0,325 or 32.5%.

Poverty is a person's inability to fulfill the aspects of life. To overcome the problem of poverty, there are some factors which affect the poverty levels that need to be considered. The factors that influence the poverty levels are economic growth, unemployment, and education. Poverty in each region has different characteristics, and therefore it is necessary to group the regions so that the solutions can be implemented in accordance with each of the characteristics of the region. The purpose of this study is to cluster districts/cities in North Sumatra in accordance with the factors that affect poverty levels in each region using cluster analysis based on the centroid linkage method. Cluster analysis is a grouping into clusters so that objects in a cluster are more similar to each other than the objects in other clusters. From the clustering result of cluster analysis by using the centroid linkage method shows that there are four groups of districts/cities which are incorporated based on each factor that affects poverty levels, namely, economic growth, unemployment, and education.

This study aims to see the influence of chemical addition factors such as Alum, Soda ash, and Flocculand in external water treatment on water purification that will be used in processing in palm oil mills does not form scale / sediment on the walls, especially at boiler stations / boilers. This study was conducted in the laboratory using jartes with each triplo experiment / 3 times with the addition of a predetermined chemical dose and seen the turbidity / level of clarity and recorded processed into data. Then the results of the recapitulation of the research data obtained will be processed using the statistical analysis method using the complete random design (RAL) method of 3 factorials and continued with the results of the anova / fingerprint test table and the data processing will use the help of the Microsoft Excel application. From the results of the research obtained using the RAL (Complete Random Design) method 3 factorials the result that the influence of the addition of alum and flocculant chemicals will have a real effect on water purification which means that the Fhitung > Ftabel value, then Ho is rejected, alum and flocculants have the function of forming flocs that aim to precipitate dirt so that the water can be purified, it is very dominantly needed, While on the addition of chemical soda ash with the result of the decision obtained F count 0.186746989 < F table 3.168245967 So it can be concluded that Ho is accepted at the real level of ά. which means that the treatment has no real effect on the observed response. This is because soda ash has a function that can only be used as a pH regulator for the water to be purified in the palm oil mill.

The results of this performance become a decision-making tool such as promotion, dismissal, transfer, intensive giving or providing feedback for employees. However, the large number of employees who will be selected becomes an obstacle in assessing employee performance, because it is expected that an automation process uses technology to evaluate the performance of these employees. The purpose of this study is to design an employee performance appraisal system at PT Graha Prima Mentari Medan. The method used is the SAW method, the basic concept of the SAW method is to find the weighted sum of the performance ratings for each alternative on all attributes. The SAW method can help decision making to form the largest value as the best alternative. The assessment in the research that has been carried out uses 5 criteria including: Attendance, Attitude, Time Discipline, Working Period and Quantity using the SAW method. In this study, testing was carried out on 36 respondent data. The employee performance appraisal system was developed using the PHP (Pre-Hypertext Processor) programming language, and the MySQL database as the database server.

Time series data from bitcoin has nonlinear data fluctuations so that a model is needed that can accommodate data with these conditions. The method that can be used for nonlinear time series data cases such as bitcoin is the LSTAR-GARCH model. LSTAR-GARCH is a combination of the LSTAR model and the GARCH model. Bitcoin investment also contains an element of risk. To find out the value of risk, the Expected Tail Loss risk measurement tool can be used. Expected Tail Loss (ETL). The data used in this study are historical daily bitcoin price data for the period April 1, 2022 to April 1, 2023. The modeling results obtained based on the MAPE value show that the LSTAR-GARCH model is the best model with the smallest MAPE value of 30% compared to the AR, LSTAR, or AR-GARCH models. The expected Taill loss value of bitcoin is -0.06784.

Poverty is one of the problems in Indonesia's complex and fundamental economy. Poverty is a condition where a person is unable to fulfill his basic needs. Solutions need to be found to overcome or at least reduce poverty. To overcome the problem of poverty, indicators need to be considered that affect poverty levels. In this study poverty is seen through two dimensions, namely Health Quality and Economic Quality. This research was conducted to determine poverty indicators based on dimensions of health quality and economic quality with the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) method. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) is used unidimensionally to identify indicator variables that can measure health and economic quality. The analysis used was 25 districts and 8 cities in North Sumatra Province. The results showed that health quality can be measured through 10 indicators and economic quality can be measured also through 10 indicators

In the world of education, exams are used to measure how well students have achieved their educational goals. This allows students to determine their level of understanding of the subject they are pursuing. If the results are found to be suboptimal, the learning process should be improved. A semester exam is an activity conducted to assess a student's development during the completed training period. MTs Persiapan Negeri 4 Medan is one of the educational institutions that conducts semester exams according to the Paper Pencil Test (PPT) model exam system. PPT is a traditional form of administration as all students are given the same test tasks. However, this review system has its drawbacks. The drawback of the question lies in the procurement of exam questions and answer sheets, which wastes paper and takes a lot of time. Also, their administration requires a lot of manpower to proctor the exams and specialized staff to revise the answer sheets and prepare the exam results. In this study, we will implement a Multiplicative Random Number Generator (MRNG) method to create a mobile-based semester exam application on MTs Persiapan Negeri 4. The designed application aims to overcome problems encountered in traditional exams, so there is no need to procure questionnaires or answer sheets, and no special staff is required to correct answer sheets

The geometry concept has been developed rapidly, one of them is about fractal geometry. In fractal geometry concept, it has been discussed about shapes which have fractal dimension characteristics. In fractal geometry concept, it would resulted in a look like irregular shape. But if it had been observed closer, it would found a regular shape. Self-similarity is a characteristic in fractal geometry when diferent magnifications was found. In fractal concept, a pattern would be obtained from a function itteration by an infinite repetition. One of fractal geometry application is in batik design fabrications. This idea based on equality dimension, that is both of them is in fractal dimension. In fractal geometry, it will result in a specific design by itterated function using Wolframs a program.

Robust Regression, Outliers, Least Trimmed Squares, Least Median Squares.
en
Robust regression is a regression method used when the remainder's distribution is not reasonable, or there is an outreach to observational data that affects the model. One method for estimating regression parameters is the Least Squares Method (MKT). The method is easily affected by the presence of outliers. Therefore we need an alternative method that is robust to the presence of outliers, namely robust regression. Methods for estimating robust regression parameters include Least Trimmed Square (LTS) and Least Median Square (LMS). These methods are estimators with high breakdown points for outlier observational data and have more efficient algorithms than other estimation methods. This study aims to compare the regression models formed from the LTS and LMS methods, determine the efficiency of the model formed, and determine the factors that influence the production of community oil palm in Langkat District in 2018. The results showed that in testing, the estimated model of the regression parameters showed the same results. Compared to the efficiency estimator and the error square value, it was concluded that the LTS method was more efficient. Variable land area and productivity influence the production of palm oil smallholders in Langkat District in 2018. as well as the comparison of the efficiency estimator and the error square value, it was concluded that the LTS method was more efficient. Stock, Return On Aset, Debt to Equity, Return On Equity and Book Value per Share
en
Predicting stock prices is contained in the basic approach is fundamental and technical analysis which is needed by entrepreneurs who invest their capital, this analysis is to determine the company's financial performance and must continue to be carried out, to carry out this analysis we use the help of several financial ratios where several types of ratios Return on Assets, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Equity, and Book Value per Share are some examples. The authors applied a quantitative descriptive approach to companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the Pulp & Paper sector for this study. According to the Correlation and Regression tables, all of the variables ROA, ROE, DER, and BVS have an effect on stock prices, but the stock session obtained on the variables ROA, ROE, and DER has a very significant effect on stock prices but has no significant effect on stock prices on the BVS variable. So in the long term the company must implement one of two policies, namely low solvency means using less debt than own capital and a low solvency policy will not cause high interest expenses to be borne by the company so that it will affect growth.

Abstract In this paper, we discuss a dynamical behavior of Predator-Prey with ratiodependent, refuge in prey, and harvest from predator. Model reconstruction isorganized by adding the refuge control in prey with the values 0 m 1, and linearpredator harvesting. The aim of analysis is to describe the equilibrium points andtheir stability. In analysis, the possible fixed points are the prey extinction, thepredator extinction, and predator-prey coexists. By using linearization, thestability of predator extinction point is unstable, and the prey extinction point, coexists point becomes stable with certain condition. Finally, the dynamicalsimulation show that the trajectories of solution convergent to their stability, andthe refuge strategy suitable to avoid the extinction of prey.Key Word: Dynamic Behavior, Predator-Prey, Predation, Refuges, Harvest

Currently, technological advancements have undergone incredibly rapid development. Modern technology is capable of contributing to solving various challenges in different sectors, including the field of animal husbandry. Computers have been integrated as tools to perform tasks or identify existing issues, thus determining the suitability of selecting sacrificial animals. Essentially, whether or not an animal is accepted as a sacrificial offering depends on a series of conditions. Therefore, it is crucial to ascertain whether the animal meets the requirements.Based on research findings, the assessment of code P001 is made using criteria such as Animal Weight, Animal Age, Animal Gender, Blindness, Illness, Limping, Emaciation, and Complete Ears. The assessment is conducted according to the SMART method. The final calculated value for the selection of sacrificial animals is 0.61. Based on the weighting of the final value, it can be concluded that animals with a value of 0.61 are recommended for selection.

The problem of transportation in the city of Medan is also a very complex problem, especially the increasing dependence on private vehicles, both cars and motorbikes. And this causes congestion to be higher in the city of Medan and has become a common thing. Along with the development of automatic motorcycle transportation, which is increasing, both in terms of motorcycle design criteria, vehicle performance, and fuel economy used. Therefore, not a few consumers have difficulty in choosing an automatic twowheeled vehicle that suits their needs. Arduino Uno, Pir Sensor, Servo Motor
en
The rapid development of technology in the current era, especially in the field of sensors, has made many technologies that use sensors appear. In the agricultural sector itself, the use of sensor technology is not spared. In the agricultural sector, rice fields also require a tool that can detect pests which are usually done by the manual method. The purpose of this research is to help farmers repel bird pests with automation tools to make it easier to monitor the fields from pests. This study conducted experiments carried out by manipulating the research object. The tools used are Arduino Uno microcontrollers as tool controllers, PIR sensors as detection sensors and servo motors as tool drivers. When a pest is detected by the sensor it is then sent to the device controller in the form of Arduino after which the servo motor moves. From the results of testing all the components of the tool, it can be concluded that the results of the entire system work and function in accordance with the system design, the results of the PIR sensor test can detect objects that pass through the sensor with an average of 120 cm

Transmission of infectious diseases in epidemiological models is usually based on the assumption that populations in random mixing. However, in reality this assumption is not fulfilled, because each individual has a limited set of contacts that they can pass through infection; the ensemble of all such contacts forms a complex network. Knowledge of network structure allows a model to calculate the dynamics of an epidemic at a population scale from individual level infection behavior. This paper discusses mathematical models to illustrate the epidemic pattern of transmission of infectious diseases in dynamic networks based on compartment systems.

E-Commerce stands for Electronic Commerce which means a marketing system by means of electronic media. E-Commerce is defined as the process of buying and selling of products, services and information that is done electronically using a computer network. One form of e-commerce is online shopping. The purpose of this study is to determine the best online shopping based on predetermined criteria. The criteria used in E-Commerce are the price of goods, completeness of goods, shipping costs, quality of goods, and length of delivery time. The Electre method is a multi-criteria decision-making method based on the concept of outranking using pairwise comparisons of alternatives based on each appropriate criterion. Based on the analysis using the Electric method, it is recommended that the best online shopping is TOKOPEDIA which dominates other alternatives.

Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new virus that can be transmitted and the worst impact is death. Covid-19 first appeared in Wuhan, China and eventually spread throughout the world, one of which was North Sumatra Province. The spread of Covid-19 cases was quite rapid, until finally the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the Covid-19 case a pandemic. Based on the conditions that occurred, this final project discusses the prediction of positive cases of Covid-19 in five locations in North Sumatra using the Generalized Space Time Autoregressive (GSTAR) model. Considering that Covid-19 spreads very easily, it does not only depend on time but also the proximity between locations, so the GSTAR model is quite good to use in predicting it, assuming the parameters between locations are heterogeneous. The estimation used is OLS with inverse distance weight. This study aims to determine the best GSTAR model and forecast positive cases of Covid-19 at five locations in North Sumatra. The results show that the best GSTAR model in this study is -OLS with an inverse weight of distance with forecasting results for the next 10 days in May 2022.

Religious moderation is a religious perspective by understanding and practicing religious teachings in a balanced or non-extreme way. Currently, learning about religious moderation is only carried out at school, which is explained by a teacher. Limited insight into religious moderation is one of the factors why students lack empathy towards religious communities. Therefore, a mobile- based learning application is needed that can be the right solution to bring learning about religious moderation into the hands of students, facilitating access and learning outside the classroom to create a young generation that understands differences, and understands that religious diversity is something that normal in society. The tools used to design this system are UML (Unified Modeling Language), which consists of Use Case Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams and Class Diagrams. The application system was built using Android Studio as the programming language and Firebase as the database. It is hoped that this application can be an effective means of increasing students' understanding of religious moderation so as to make a positive contribution in creating a young generation that respects differences, and becomes agents of peace in a society with diverse religions and beliefs.

The development of population increases every year, causing food needs to expand to meet food needs by increasing food crop productivity so that food availability can be sufficient. Food crops consist of rice, corn, green beans, peanuts, cassava, and sweet potatoes. Productivity in each region has different characteristics, and therefore it is necessary to group the areas so that solution can be implemented by each of the components of the region. The purpose of this study is to group districts/cities in North Sumatera Province based on food crop productivity using the k-means clustering method. Clustering k-means is a method of grouping non-hierarchical data that attempts to partition existing data into one or more clusters or groups so that data that has the same characteristics are grouped into one same characteristic are grouped into other groups. The result of this study is the formation of 3 city district clusters, namely, cluster 1 amounting to 1 regency/city, cluster 2 totaling seven districts/cities, and cluster 3 totaling 25 districts/cities.

Calculating distribution costs using the transportation method seeks to solve the problem of goods sent from source to destination so that the most optimal amount of transportation costs will be obtained to maximize profits. CV. Horizon Sibolga Group is a company that provides raw fish for sale to fish processing consumers. The company is located at Gatot Subroto street Number. 108 Pondok Batu Sarudik, Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra Province. In this study, the North West Corner method will be used to find an initial feasible solution, and the Modified Distribution method will be used as an optimization test. If the test results show an optimal solution, then the allocation has been optimal and can be said to have reached the most profitable value. These results were obtained using Matlab software. Before the calculation, the company incurs distribution costs for a year of Rp. 963,000,000. From the research results, the total cost obtained after using the North West Corner method as an initial feasible solution is Rp. 928,831,000, and after using the Modified Distribution method as an optimization test, the total distribution cost is Rp. 923,058,000. So that the method used can save costs of Rp. 39,942,000, with a percentage of 4.14%.Keywords: Optimization, Transportation Problems, North West Corner, Modified Distribution, Matlab.

demster shafer, nephrotic syndrome, expert system
en
Children's health is certainly a concern for parents, especially coupled with various types of viruses that became outbreaks in 2020. Therefore, parents' concerns about their children become greater. Without proper treatment and handling, usually Nephrotic Syndrome disease will assume everything that is done is right even though it deviates. In the field of medicine, the precision with which an illness is diagnosed and the speed with which the diagnosis is made are both crucial. The patient's health will suffer as a result of treatment decisions being delayed due to misdiagnosis. However, there are occasionally only a few doctors available. The Dempster Shafer technique produces precise, quick, and accurate diagnoses by garnering the respect of experts based on their expertise. In this study, disease will be identified using the Dempster-Shafer approach. This study's output is an expert system that, without consulting an expert directly, can determine whether a person has a condition based on the symptoms they are experiencing. By contrasting the outcomes of expert diagnostics with those generated by the system, high accuracy, testing of this system comprises determining the validity of the system's accuracy value.

Complex problems that usually occur in every hospital, one of which is scheduling with so many aspects, for example: the number of nurses, the distribution of nurse shifts, time off or leave and others. With the manual method that is still used in compiling the nurse's work schedule, it makes it difficult for an irregular and regular schedule. In solving the scheduling problem, the graph coloring method can be used. This scheduling problem can be solved by graph coloring. One solution to solve the problem of concluding graphs in scheduling is the Tabu Search Algorithm. A method that works as an effective problem solving method in finding the best solution to a problem. A method is used to solve the problem by making a representation in the form of a graph where the nurse is a node and grouping nurses as an edge by implementing the graph coloring into the Tabu Search Algorithm.

Waste is a classic problrm that occurs in metropolis such as Medan. As a city of trade and industry, the waste generated in Medan city is increasing every day. This research was made based on the problems that exist in Medan Marelan Sub-district. The problem of waste distribution in Medan Marelan does not yet have a fixed route and runs two routes or two rounds every day so that waste transportation is not optimal which results in piles of garbage at several points that are missed and ineffective time. Based on these problems, this research was made using the Clarke and Wright Saving Heuristic method. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimal waste transportation route for waste distribution so as to minimize distribution costs. From the processing, the route that will be obtained can be determined by two methods, namely nearest neighbor and farthers insertion. From the observations of the two methods used, the total distance on each route is different. For example, on the first Typer Truck route, the Farthest Insert Method is 34.126 km and the Nearest Neighbor Method is 32.595 km with the required fuel of 6.8 liters and 6.5 liters. The second Typer Truck Farthest Insert Method is 13.275 km and the Nearest Neighbor Method is 13.506 km with 2.65 liters and 2.7 liters of fuel. And the third Typer Truck Farthest Insert Method is 13.075 km and Nearest Neighbor Method is 13.225 km with 2.6 Liters and 2.64 Liters offuel.

Estimates are important tools in effective and efficient planning for predicting future events. Identical estimates of the future values of a variable for planning or decision making of a situation to estimate future values. Monte Carlo simulation is a simulation model that involves a series of random and sampling with a probability distribution that can be known and determined, then this simulation can be used. In this study, data is taken from the amount of water usage in PDAM Tirtanadi H.M branch. Yamin, North Sumatra from January 2018 to June 2019. Then, the data is processed and analyzed using Monte Carlo Simulation to determine the forecast results in the years that follow. The result is an estimated amount of water usage in 2019 and 2020 at PDAM Tirtanadi H.M branch. Yamin, North Sumatra is 8,604,556 and 8,592,873. The estimated amount of water use is down from the amount of water use in 2018 which reached 8,685,356. The amount of water usage in 2018, 2019 and 2020 decreases by about .

Gross Regional Domestic Product, Number of Tourist, Regional Own Revenue, Panel Data, Restaurant Tax
en
Regional Own Revenue is all revenue from the government at the regional level in a certain period, usually in a period of one fiscal year. There are several factors that can be used to increase Local Own Revenue. The factors used in this study are gross regional domestic product, number of tourists and restaurant taxes. This research was carried out using panel data analysis which is a combination of cross-sectional data (Districts/Cities in North Sumatra) and also time series (Regional Original Income 2015-2020). The best model obtained is the random effect model. From the value of Regional Original Income and these three factors, it was found that the results of Regional Original Revenue in North Sumatra had increased in 2015-2018, but in 2019-2020 Regional Original Revenue in North Sumatra had decreased. The variable that has a positive effect and also has a significant effect on Regional Original Income is the restaurant tax variable. The R2 value of this model is 0.78634, which means that the ability of the Restaurant Tax variable to explain the Regency/City Local Revenue variable in North Sumatra Province is 78.634%, while the remaining 21.366% is explained by other factors not included in the model.

Poor People, Small Area Estimation, Semiparametric, Penalized Spline
en
Poverty is one of the many problems that have not been completely resolved by the government in Indonesia, one of which is poverty in the province of North Sumatra. To estimate the percentage of poor people, data is needed in each area using the Small Area Estimation method. Small Area Estimation is used to estimate the parameters of a subpopulation that has a small scope. However, to get a better estimate, you can use an indirect estimation method, one of which is the semiparametric Penalized Spline approach. This method can be used in conjunction with small area estimation because it can connect the two components in the model between the response variable and the predictor variable which is linear and the relationship between the response variable and the predictor variable is non-linear. Based on the small area estimation model with a semiparametric penalized spline approach, the best is found in model 4 with a coefficient of determination value of 0.645 where the value is close to 1, which means the results are good to use. The average poor population in North Sumatra province is estimated at 15.38%, the highest poor population is in Pakpak Bharat at 22.66% and the lowest estimated poor population is in Deli Serdang at 7.51%.

Abstract To evaluate the success of the Kotaku program (City Without Slums) in PNPM Mandiri in Deli Serdang Regency, a study is needed to determine the level of community satisfaction with the results of the Kotaku program. Then in this study, a decision support system will be built to assist in determining the level of community satisfaction with the Kotaku program. The method chosen to support the above problem solving is Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT). The system design is done by using Unified Modeling Language (UML) modelling and accompanied by a system interface design. The advantage of this system is that it can perform calculations very quickly and effectively. This decision support system shows that with the advancement of science and technology it can help in determining the right level of community satisfaction by following the correct considerations and calculations. But there are still some weaknesses of the system including this system has a simple interface and does not have the feature to backup the database.

Dealer, Location, A-Star, Nearest Route
en
Currently, motorbikes are a means of transportation that are often used by the community because they have advantages when compared to other means of transportation. One type of motorcycle that is widely used is a Honda motorcycle. Currently, there are many Honda motorcycle dealers spread across Indonesia, especially in Medan, but have not yet been integrated into a system, making it difficult for people who want to find such dealers. Another problem is that there is no map of the distribution of the nearest dealer from the community's location and there is no information about dealers covering products and ordering services online. With technology, the authors build a geographic information system with the A-Star algorithm that can assist in mapping dealer locations and can calculate the closest route that can be taken. This system is built based on Android using Kodular, Java and PHP programming languages, and uses Openstreetmap as a geographical map.

Advanced installment innovation has brought a business pattern that makes it simpler to see income conditions or what is known as a productive contrast. Different new ways are utilized to make progress, one of which is with an electronic-based business, yet with a particularly number of varieties, vulnerability in business is likewise progressively hard to foresee. Particularly foreseeing in the following not many years what exercises will regularly happen. Forecast itself is an interaction of efficiently assessing something that is well on the way to occur later on dependent on at various times data. To stay aware of the advancement of the organization, it is important to enhance the measurements for the business. Similarity involves the process of characterizing each object or describing in detail the features of the object. A way to measure similarity by characterizing each object so as to produce a similarity in behavior. used the jaccard method in finding similarities.

In statistics, one way to group (classify) a data mathematically is called classification. There are several types of classification methods, one of which is Chi-Square Automatic Interaction Detection, which is abbreviated as CHAID. CHAID method will be applied to North Sumatra stunting data. Stunting is a condition in which a person's height is shorter than that of other people of the same age. The dependent variable in the study was stunting, which was measured in infants aged 24-59 months, while the independent variable was a factor that affected stunting. The factors that influence the incidence of stunting in infants aged 24-59 months in North Sumatra based on the results of the analysis (CHAID) are family income, sanitation and water sources. From the results of the CHAID analysis, 5 different groups were obtained, namely: Infants aged 24-59 months who were stunted were infants with an economic income of IDR 1,000,000 - IDR 2,000,000 (98.4%) and inadequate sanitation (100%), Babies aged 24-59 months who are stunted are babies with an economic income of IDR 1,000,000 - IDR 2,000,000 (98.4%) and proper sanitation (93.2%), babies aged 24-59 months who are not stunted are infants with an economic income of Rp. 3,000,000 - Rp. 5,000,000 (95.5%). Infants aged 24-59 months who are not stunted are infants with an economic income of > Rp. 5,000,000 (99.5%) and adequate water sources (100%) and infants aged 24-59 months who are not stunted with an economic income of > IDR 5,000,000 (99.5%) and inadequate water sources (97.1%).

Economic growth in Indonesia affects the need for household furniture. With the increasing demand, consumers have to wait a long time for the requested furniture. This causes sales to not be optimal due to consumer disappointment which results in cancellation of requests. The purpose of this research is to determine the optimal development of sales and make a production schedule based on the forecasting results obtained. The data of this research are window sales at UD. Podomoro Asahan from July 2016 to July 2021. The data was processed using the ARIMA and Winters methods and then compared between the two methods. The results of the study used the ARIMA method, namely using the ARIMA model (0,1,1) with an error value of MPE -0.079772% and MAPE 16.592778%. The results of the study used the Winters method, namely using the smoothing constant α=0.546225; β=0.259846; γ=0.116178; with MPE error value -0.39785% and MAPE 39.78471%.

Endowment premium, Tabarru’s funds, Sharia insurance
en
In general, the premiums paid by participants in Islamic insurance are allocated into three components with specific proportions: administrative costs, participants' savings, and Tabarru's funds (mutual aid funds). Participants' savings and Tabarru's funds are invested according to Sharia principles, and the returns are shared (Mudharabah) between the participants and the company. This study analyses the allocation of Tabarru's funds and participant savings about the size of premiums using the Endowment method. Additionally, the investment results from Tabarru's funds and participant savings, as well as their distribution to participants and the insurance company, will be simulated. Premium calculations utilize the Indonesian Mortality Table (TMI) for the year 2011. The simulation results indicate that administrative costs and investment returns from premiums managed for male participants are larger than those for female participants. Therefore, the claim amount for male participants is likely to be higher compared to the claim, amount for female participants.

Department of Agriculture and Food Security Malang City, especially in the Field of Food Supply Availability and Distribution requires a reference forecasting of food prices in Malang. The method used in the forecasting calculation is Single Exponential Smoothing. In the process of calculating the Single Exponential Smoothing method, it takes alpha parameters between 0 and 1. The problem is when to estimate the alpha value between 0 to 1 with trial error with the aim of producing minimal forecasting results. Therefore, this study aims to determine the optimal alpha value. The method used in this research is the Golden Section Method. The principle of Golden Section method in this study is to reduce the boundary area so as to produce a minimum MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error) value The data used in this study is the price of 9 commodities of Groceries in Malang since January 1, 2016 until December 31, 2017. The results showed that the Golden Section method found that the optimal alpha value was 0.999 with MAPE average of 9 commodities is 0.79%. So with this golden section method researchers do not need a long time to determine alpha by trial error

This journal discusses optimal control of inventory problems that are increasing. The inventory in the company is needed, to meet every incoming demand. Inventory in minimum quantity can result in shortage of inventory. But inventory quantity maximum can result in losses, due to the minimum demand. The purpose of this research is to determine the level of optimal inventory in PT. Canang Indah. Using the optimal control theory model and analyzing the stability of the dynamic differential equation, to find the optimal inventory level. Obtained optimal inventory levels achieve stability at the time . For the planning length of 12 months includes: raw material inventory (logs sengon and rambung), production (finished materials in process) and finished particle board products that are in the warehouse. From this research optimal control theory can be applied in PT. Canang Indah to optimize inventory on the problem of increasing inventory.

Determination of nutritional status is very important in helping to monitor the state of nutritional health growth in toddlers every time. In this study, there were 70 identity data for toddlers for the 2022 period obtained from the KB Counseling Center in the Pegajahan sub-district, in Sukasari Village. There are four independent variables used, namely gender, health insurance, weight, and height. The purpose of this study is to determine the classification that is formed and the accuracy of the resulting classification on the nutritional status of toddlers. Classification which is part of data mining can make decisions on the nutritional status of toddlers faster and more efficiently. QUEST method (Quick, Unbiased, Efficient, Statistical Trees) is one of the statistical methods that can be used to form a decision tree and classify an object using a separator algorithm that produces a binary tree. From the results of the classification there is a variable height (𝑥!) as the limiting variable. in the early stages of insulation, the parent node which consists of 70 toddler data. Variables are partitioned based on height into two nodes, namely node (1) and node (2). Node (1) is a node containing 25 children under five with a height of more than 85.79 cm, while node (2) is a node for 45 children under five with a height less than or equal to 85.79 cm. in the next process, the blocking is terminated. the overall value of the accuracy of the classification of trees formed is 95.7%. Thus, the probability of misclassification of the tree is 4.3%, which means that this classification tree is optimal.

The most commonly-causing disease in developing countries is tuberculosis (TBC or TB). Therefore, it is necessary to conduct an analysis that can be accepted individually or scientifically on the problem of transmission of tb tuberculosis cases in developing countries. One of them can be viewed in the form of a mathematical model. By dividing the human population into 3 groups, namely the group of susceptible individuals (susceptible to disease), hordes of infective individuals (infected with disease), and groups of recovered individuals (cured derived from disease) that's how the SIR model describes the dynamics of the spread of infectious diseases. Therefore, critical point analysis, eigen value and basic reproduction ratio are needed. Then test the parameter analysis by simulating the runge kutta method order 4, from the results of the analysis conducted we will find the rate of transmission and cure rate which is the most influential thing on the spread of tuberculosis (TBC). Thus from the occurrence of epidemics that form or decrease the rate of transmission and increase the cure rate of tuberculosis disease transmission can be controlled.

Excess or lack of inventory that is too large is a problem that can trigger increased costs so that companies do not get the benefits they should. The purpose of this study is to minimize the cost of inventories of crude palm oil using the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method and EPQ (Economic Production Quantity) methods at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV (Persero) Medan. From the results it is known that economic orders according to the EOQ method in 2017 amounted to 2.741,222 tons and in 2018 amounted to 2.825,927 tons. The difference in total inventory costs generated using the EOQ method and company conditions in 2017 amounted to Rp71.605.439.976,17 and in 2018 amounting to Rp60.884.174.907,3. The optimal amount of production (EPQ) in 2017 and 2018 was 146.226,147 tons. The difference in total inventory costs generated using the EPQ method and the condition of the company in 2017 and 2018 amounted to Rp102.771.704.121,63.

Crude oil content, Fuzzy MultiAttributeDecision Making Method and Simple Additive Weighting,l Decision SupportiSystem
en
PT.UKINDO BLANKHAN – POM is one of many large oil palm plantations that produces crude palm oil. The quality requirements for palm oil used as a raw material in the food industry and the non-food industry are distinct. Consequently, authenticity, purity, freshness, and other aspects need to be given more thought. The crude palm oil content is still selected manually in the processing section. It is challenging to process this, and it does not completely rule out the possibility of assessment errors. Based on the assessment above, determining high-quality oil frequently presents challenges, particularly when it comes to valuing crude oil levels or aspects in accordance with quality and standards. In light of these issues, a system that can assist in determining the level and quality of raw oil is required. Consequently, developing a method for determining the content of crude palm oil using Fuzzy MultiAttributeDecision Making and Simple Additive Weighting methods. Goal Programming, Budget Allocation
en
The purpose of this research is to maximize the use of funds at the Universitas HKBP Nommensen Faculty of Training and Educational Sciences, a higher education establishment. This study intends to educate the general public on the use of goal programming challenges in achieving organizational goals, both financially and non-financially. Between 2020 and 2022, information on this faculty's budget estimates was gathered from the faculty budget. Five objectives were taken into consideration for the study in the following order of priority: personal costs, overhead costs, capital expenditures, revenue (internally generated), and the total budget from the university's budget estimates. The information gathered was utilized to create a goal programming problem, which was then addressed using the Simplex approach (using LINGO software). The optimum value of Z (Z=4.24) was found to achieve goal 1 (the personal cost goal), goal 3 (the capital expenditure goal), and goal 5 (the overall budget goal) based on the solution provided. However, it failed to satisfy goals 2 and 4, which are the goals for overhead costs and revenue, respectively. Based on the results, it was determined that in order to meet targets 2 and 4, which are related to overhead costs and revenue, respectively, the Department Mathematic Education Universitas HKBP Nommensen, needed to come within 4.24 billion Rupiah. It was also suggested that the University have an annual budget review with a minimum of 4.24 billion Rupiah in 2010 and that this review be done in a timely and appropriate manner, under the supervision of an active government budget monitoring team.

The city of Medan is the city with the highest cases of COVID-19 virus among cities in North Sumatra. This study was conducted to analyze the relative risk level for the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Estimation of relative risk is a statistic in disease mapping that is used to determine the distribution of disease. Relative risk estimation can be estimated using a direct estimator model or Standardized Morbility ratio and a small area estimation model using Bayesian Conditional Autoregressive (CAR) with the Poisson-Gamma model. The Poisson-Gamma model is one of the models in estimating small areas in the form of count data which is suitable for use in disease mapping cases. This study aims to find the relative risk value as the basis for mapping the spread of the COVID-19 virus in the city of Medan using the Standardized Morbility Ratio and Bayesian Condition Autoregressive models. And look for the value of the Central Error Squared (KTG) / Mean Squared Error (MSE) as a comparison which model is more efficient in estimating this research. Condition Autoregressive models. And look for the value of the Central Error Squared (KTG) / Mean Squared Error (MSE) as a comparison which model is more efficient in estimating this research.

Misuse and theft of confidential PDF documents because documents can still be recognized and read by humans means, of course, these problems can harm those who have access to PDF document data. The act of tapping and stealing PDF documents can be minimized by the application of cryptographic encryption techniques. Cryptography is a science that studies mathematical techniques related to information security aspects such as confidentiality, data integrity and authentication. Cryptography requires an algorithm to perform the encryption process, one of the cryptographic algorithms that can be used is the Standard Data Encryption (DES) algorithm. The DES algorithm is a symmetric algorithm that works on the principle of a block cipher. The DES algorithm uses a 64-bit key to encrypt a 64-bit block. This thesis discusses the design of web-based cryptography using the Data Encryption Standard (DES) method. The application of this system is hiding pdf files using an 8-bit key without any errors or file damage and cannot be decrypted without the appropriate key. By using a data security application system using the DES method, it is useful to help hide the contents of important pdf files with a key so as to minimize digital theft by irresponsible parties.

The development of an increasingly fast and instant era in this millennial era, makes electronic devices, especially laptops, also experience very fast and extensive development. The capacity of a laptop is closely related to the price of a laptop, if the capacity of the laptop is higher, the price of the laptop will also be higher, and vice versa if the capacity of the laptop is lower, the price of the laptop will also be lower. each laptop offers different features of each type and gives each type a unique look and shape. This is what makes students and the public confused about which laptop to choose according to their wishes and the money budget they have so that they don't make the wrong choice in determining the type of laptop that students and the community want later. On this basis, a study was made that is used in making decisions on laptop selection using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This research was conducted to find out how the decision support system in choosing a laptop that suits the needs and economic conditions for students and the community.

The population of Indonesia in each province are continuing increased every year. The total population of Indonesia in 2010 was 237.641.326, while in 2010 it increased by 32.562.591 people to 270.203.917 people, with the male population are greater than women population. By the population of Open Unemployment Male Rate (TPT) is higher than female, which is 5.31 percent compared to 5.23 percent. Unemployment is one of the ten important events in triggering stress. The male who don't have a job get a higher stress level then female, it found that the male who were unemployed were more risk towards death than female, about 78 percent compared to 37 percent. The purpose of this study is to estimate the life table of Indonesian male population by smoothing it using the Coale-Demeny’s life table based on the 2010 and 2020 Population Census data. The method of this study is Survival Analysis in Smoothed Way by using Coale-Demeny’s Life Table. The result of this study obtained by 58,84 years life expentacy (AHH), means that from 100.000 babies born will be able to live to the age of 58 or 59 years. By the pattern of the number of Indonesian male residents who survive, the result is close to (has similarities) to the pattern of the number of Indonesian male residents who survive that produced by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS-Statistics Indonesia).

Suppliers Selection, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Best Worst Method (BWM).

The incompatibility of the quality of the goods sent and the delay in delivery resulted in the company suffering losses and creating an unfavourable image in the company consumer's eyes. Both factors can be caused by error in the supplier selection process of raw material. The purpose of this research is to select the best supplier in the procurement process at the largest paper-producing company in Indonesia, which begins with determining the criteria that influence the selection of suppliers. The Analytical Hierarchy Process and the Best Worst Method were used in this study. Based on 4 personnel in the procurement department, 8 criteria were found for selecting suppliers with 3 alternative suppliers. The selected criteria are: Certificate Quality, Defect Rate, Offer Price, Discounts, Delivery Time, Order Fulfilment, Power Respond, and Work History. The offer price is the most important variable with a weight of 29.3%. Supplier A was selected with a score of 66.78%, while Supplier C became the second alternative priority and Supplier B became the third alternative priority.

A tourist in determining the purpose of his tour, must be based on several criteria that are used as a determining factor in choosing. These criteria are taken into consideration by tourists in determining which tourist attractions will be chosen. Thus this study aims to assist tourists in choosing tourist attractions in North Sumatra based on the desired criteria and / or provide information to tourists about the best tourist attractions in North Sumatra in accordance with the desired criteria. The Elimination Et Choix Traduisant La Realita (ELECTRE) method which is a system that uses a multicriter decision making method based on the outranking concept by using a pairwise comparison of alternatives based on each appropriate criterion. This research resulted in a recommendation for natural tourist attractions in North Sumatra, namely Teluk Dalam tourism in the Nias Islands.
