ZERO: Jurnal Sains, Matematika dan Terapan is a blind reviewed academic journal, established in 2017 as part of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra Medan, dedicated to the publication of scholarly articles in various Sciences, mathematics, and its applications, by which exchanges of ideas as research findings and contemporary issues are facilitated. ZERO: Jurnal Sains, Matematika dan Terapan welcomes contributions of articles in such fields as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information System, and its applications. According to the ISSN Decree, ZERO: Jurnal Sains, Matematika dan Terapan has been published on a triannual basis.

In line with the latest update submitted to BRIN and effective as of 2025, ZERO: Jurnal Sains, Matematika dan Terapan has officially implemented a triannual publication schedule. This policy is intended to strengthen the consistency, quality, and timeliness of scholarly dissemination in the fields covered by the journal.
The journal hereby invites researchers, academics, and practitioners to submit original research articles, review papers, and technical notes within the scope of Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, and other related applied disciplines. All submissions will undergo a rigorous editorial screening and double-blind peer-review process, conducted in accordance with established principles of publication ethics.
