PENGGUNAAN TELEHEALTH DALAM MANAJEMEN HIPERTENSI DI LAYANAN PUSAT KESEHATAN MASYARAKAT INDONESIA

Abstract


Background Using Telehealth is a new breakthrough in hypertensive management involving the latest technology. Telehealth  is likely to monitor patient's health status such as blood pressure. Hypertension known as a medical condition where there is an increement in blood pressure. Hypertension is categorized as non-infectious diseases that oftenly occured in primary health care where telehealth can be applied as first-line treatment to hypertensive patients. Patient’s condition can be monitored precisely by using Telehealth. This article will present literature review that exploring telehealth use at health care society also his benefit to hypertensive management.

Methods This kind of research using a PICO method (population, intervention, comparison, outcome) that is part of Literature Review. The question is 'Do patient's health status that being monitored by telehealth application will have a better life and do they use it as health care standard ?

Results of the literature review indicate that applying telehealth required feedback and compatibility of latest technology systems in Telehealth

Conclusion Using telehealth can improve health in the society. Telehealth will not reduce health care quality and patient’s satisfaction level. Telehealth is affecting patient’s habit by making them independently maintain their health where it also requires the stability of internet technology to acces Telehealth.
